MarBorg RecoveryJob DescriptionJOB TITLE: Scale House OperatorLOCATION: Tajiguas LandfillFLSA EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Non-Exempt, HourlyPREPARED DATE: February 2022REPORTS TO: Operations Manager DIRECT REPORTS: None POSITION SUMMARY:The scale house operator is responsible for helping in the day-to-day operations and attends to the administrative duties associated with operation of the scale(s). This position is required to screen all loads to verify the type of material and is responsible for operating the weigh scales and scale computer. Accurate record keeping and data entry is essential for the purpose of accurate billing. A TYPICAL DAY: This is not just a job; this is a dedicated team determined to redefine waste recovery. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:

• Inspect and verify loads with drivers and ask questions as required. Operate computerize truck scale to determine the weight of each load and enter load information and driver/truck information into computer.
• Operate computer and accurately perform routine data entry into a computer and generate charge ticket on printer.
• Sort and process weight tickets at the end of each day and submit to billing.
• Complete daily scale/receipt reports, as assigned.
• Organize and file weight tickets for each load and maintain records of all incoming/outgoing loads.
• Maintains control of the scale house to ensure an efficient workflow of operation.
• Maintains work area and equipment in a safe and clean condition at all times.
• Attend daily safety meetings.
• Ability to adhere to work schedule.
• Must be flexible to work early and late hours depending on work load.
• Maintains a feeling of pride in work; strives to achieve all goals.
