Job Description:
A company is looking for a Cancer Registrar - OC (REMOTE).
Key Responsibilities
Review reports to identify new cases of malignant diseases and
reportable benign cases
Abstract and enter data in compliance with state and ACoS reporting
guidelines
Provide follow-up information for external requests and assist in
data retrieval for research purposes
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School diploma or equivalent
Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training
2 years in an allied health profession, including 1 year as a
Cancer Registrar or completion of the Cancer Information Management
program
Current certification by the National Cancer Registrars Association
or ability to obtain CTR certification within one year of
employment
Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and basic statistics
