Job Description:
A company is looking for an Attorney, Claims & Litigation to
manage the litigation process for employee benefits claims.
Key Responsibilities
Negotiate settlements on a pre-litigation basis and oversee outside
counsel
Provide legal advice to claims analysts on contract interpretation
and policy application
Analyze legal risks and educate the organization on changes in laws
or regulations
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Jurisprudence and admitted to the Oregon State Bar (or
eligible for admission)
Minimum of three years of legal experience or relevant business
knowledge
Knowledge of ERISA, insurance bad faith litigation, and employee
benefits litigation preferred
Experience in negotiating and managing litigation strategies
Ability to deliver effective presentations to diverse audiences
