Support local schools and impact young people's lives in the Greater Denver area as a Special Education Paraprofessional with Zen Educate. We're hiring for this role, where you'll assist licensed teachers with academic adaptations, self-care, and social/behavioral needs. Key duties include being a case manager for students with mild to moderate disabilities, responding to inquiries, and ensuring compliance with federal and state timelines.--- Be available for families via phone and online.
--- Work collaboratively within the special education team and across departments.
--- Ensure services are being provided for students on your caseload.
--- Monitor IEP due dates and scheduling.
--- Write and manage IEPs for all students on your caseload.Minimum requirements: Valid, current, CA SPED education specialist credential, state and federal background clearance, and proof of a clear TB test. Preferred requirements include a bachelor's degree or higher, past work experience in a school, and experience working with children with special educational needs.Additional requirements include US Work Authorization, proficiency in English, and no visa sponsorship. Teacher Assistant's pay reflects your qualifications and experience level.
